CHAMADA DE CANDIDATURA | 2022
RAVC2 é uma residência artística online proposta entre a Black Brazil Art em parceria com a Njabala Foundation da Uganda. Nesta segunda edição da RAVC - Residência Artística Virtual Compartilhada, a Black Brazil Art lança uma residência online que visa alcançar mais artistas e apoiar sua evolução artística.
O QUE INCLUI
- Sete mês de programa online.
- Acompanhamento técnico e curatorial.
-Mentoria de um profissional que orientará sua equipe nos primeiros passos do projeto.
-Colaboração com instituições locais para usar seus equipamentos, pedindo conselhos ou fazendo um primeiro teste do projeto do grupo (a depender do projeto).
-Acesso gratuito aos webinars online.
-Network com instituições e profissionais internacionais (a depender do projeto).
-Participação em workshops organizados pela Njabala Foundation com experiências imersivas (requisitos da própria fundação).
-Visitas organizadas a espaços criativos (virtualmente) e centros de arte da cidade de Kampala.
-Visita e acompanhamento curatorial online.
-Texto de curadoria (aprox. 1 página).
-Um portfólio-catálogo virtual (4 a 8 páginas) do projeto e\ou trabalho desenvolvido na residência.
-Divulgação nas redes sociais da BBA.
-Promover de forma virtual 40 encontros online.
-2 a 3 encontros por semana - incluindo alguns sábados.
-2 horas cada encontro.
-Desenvolver reflexões em torno da temática proposta em ambiente virtual.
-criar ambiente facilmente acessível que permita aos mentorandos experimentar novas ideias.
-Hospedar proposições e criações virtuais (no site da residência).
-Trazer à tona novas propostas artísticas originais e críticas.
-Permitir que artistas se beneficiem de um tempo de residência e discussão com mentor x residente - residente x mentor, permitindo-lhes imaginar um projeto de criação artística.
-Apresentar o resultado dessa residência na terceira edição da Bienal Black Brazil Art.
-Participação na exposição da 3a Bienal Black Brazil Art*.
* Somente trabalhos e\ou projetos finalizados e aprovados pela comissão da BBA.

RAVC2 is an online artist residency proposed between Black Brazil Art in partnership with the Ugandan Njabala Foundation. This 2022 Black Brazil Art launches the second edition of RAVC - Shared Virtual Artistic Residency, an online residency that aims to reach more artists and support their artistic evolution.
WHAT INCLUDES
- Seven months of online programming.
- Technical and curatorial follow-up.
- Mentorship by a professional who will guide your team during the first steps of the project.
- Collaboration with local institutions to use their equipment, asking for advice or doing a first test of the group's project (depending on the project).
- Free access to online webinars.
- Networking with international institutions and professionals (depending on the project).
- Participation in workshops organized by the Njabala Foundation with immersive experiences (requirements of the foundation itself).
- Organized visits to creative spaces (virtually) and art centers in the city of Kampala.
-Visit and online curatorial follow-up.
- Curated text (approx. 1 page).
- A virtual catalog-portfolio (4 to 8 pages) of the project and/or work developed in the residency.
- Disclosure on BBA's social networks.
- Promote in a virtual way 40 online metetings.
- 2 to 3 meetings per week including Saturday.
- 2 hours each meeting.
- Develop reflections around the proposed theme in a virtual environment.
- Create an easily accessible environment that allows mentees to experiment with new ideas.
- Host proposals and virtual creations (on the residence website).
- Bring out new original and critical artistic proposals.
- Allow artists to benefit from a residency and discussion time with mentor x resident - resident x mentor, allowing them to imagine an artistic creation project.
- To present the result of this residency in the third edition of the Black Brazil Art Biennial.
- Participation in the exhibition of the 3rd Bienal Black Brazil Art*.
* Only works and/or projects finalized and approved by the BBA committee.
