Martha Kazungu - Ug

Martha Kazungu é curadora e historiadora de arte de Uganda. Ela é mestre  em artes em linguagem verbal africana e Artes Visuais com foco em curadoria e mídia na África da Universidade  de Bayreuth, Alemanha. Vários anos de promoção do trabalho de mulheres  artistas levaram à sua fundação Njabala Fundação para dar visibilidade a  artistas mulheres. Ela faz parte do conselho científico consultivo de  Arte e Exposição Feminismos pelo Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg. Kazungu também  atua como curador externo para a Fundação Cultural Federal Alemã Turn2  Labs de 2022. Atualmente, ela está finalizando seu mandato como Curadora  assistente no Museum am Rothenbaum (MARKK) com uma exposição cocuradora  no 8º Trienal de Fotografia em Hamburgo. Os escritos de Kazungu foram  apresentados em várias publicações na África, Europa e EUA.

Martha Kazungu is a Ugandan curator and Art Historian. She holds a  master of arts in African Verbal and Visual Arts with a focus on  curating and media in Africa from the University of Bayreuth, Germany.  Several years of promoting the work of women artists led to her founding  Njabala Foundation to render visibility for women artists. She is on  the scientific advisory board for Art and Feminisms exhibition by the  Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg. Kazungu also serves as external curator for the  German Federal Cultural Foundation Turn2 Labs of 2022. She is currently  finalizing her tenure as Assistant Curator at Museum am Rothenbaum  (MARKK) with a cocurated exhibition within the 8 th Triennial of  Photography in Hamburg. Kazungu’s writings have been featured in several  publications in Africa, Europe, and USA.
